Employers cut 533K jobs in Nov., most in 34 years - Yahoo! News: "Skittish employers slashed 533,000 jobs in November, the most in 34 years, catapulting the unemployment rate to 6.7 percent, dramatic proof the country is careening deeper into recession.
The new figures, released by the Labor Department Friday, showed the crucial employment market deteriorating at an alarmingly rapid clip, and handed Americans some more grim news right before the holidays."

Wow, something must have happened the first week of November that scared businesses to the point of dumping a bunch of lower paying jobs. Or maybe, the person that determines the job losses is misreading the data, like ignoring for an entire year the things other than seasonal job losses. Maybe something happened back in early 2007 that started the economy slowing down. What in the world could have changed things right around that time?
